1. The College Football National Championship was decided last night in New Orleans.

Top ranked is LSU taking on 3rd ranked Clemson. Clemson got on the board first when quarterback Trevor Lawrence keeps the ball and runs it in to give the Tigers the early lead.

But then the Heisman Trophy Winner, Joe Burrow, threw for 463 yards and five touchdowns. By doing so he set the single season record for most touchdowns passes with 60.

LSU wins the national title, their first since 2007 and a perfect season.

LSU's win also snapped Clemson's 29 game-winning streak.

The final from New Orleans: LSU 42- Clemson 25.

2. Non-stop flights now are being offered to three extremely popular U.S. cities. Allegiant Air announced three new nonstop flights out of the Gerald R. Ford International Airport.

Beginning in May, passengers will be able to go to Boston and Austin, Texas.

On June 5 a flight service will take passengers straight to Los Angeles International Airport.

To celebrate the occasion, the company is offering one-way fares as low as $33. More details can be found on the company's website.

3. Go on a shipwreck adventure in Michigan with the help of your phone. An app will show you all of the shipwrecks in the Great Lakes.

The app will give all the details from the type of vessel, to when it went under, where it happened, and how deep down it can be found.

There's an estimated 6,000 shipwrecks in the Great Lakes, with some being preserved for divers to study and enjoy while many others have never been found.

Fine all this data on Michigan.gov/exploreshipwrecks.

4. Super Bowl Sunday is just weeks away, and that means one thing for animal lovers: the 16th annual Puppy Bowl.

As always, people will be able to enjoy slo-mo replays and nose-to-nose action from the water-bowl and puppy-kiss cams.
