LaughFest is only weeks away, and there are more than just the big headliners coming to the Mitten. There will be over 150 shows featuring local talent, and some of them are free!
Some Local Free shows include:
- LaughFest Recovery Showcase - Comedians from around the country gather to laugh together and celebrate sobriety
- TRUTH(Truth Revelations Uncovered Through Heroism) T.R.U.T.H. (True Revelations Uncovered Through Heroism) is either a totally serious meeting of critical thinkers presenting truths about so-called conspiracy theories the mainstream media wouldn’t dare cover. It’s improv comedy show where performers, playing eccentric characters, deliver a PowerPoint presentation on a conspiracy of their choice. The only catch is, they have no idea what is on the slides!
- LaughFest Sketch/Improv Showcase. You never know – you may witness stars in the making! This event is free and gives groups/individuals an opportunity to perform in front of excited audiences.
- Kids Joke Time- With three shows in Grand Rapids, Lowell, and Holland.
Ticketed shows are performed by some of the best local talent in the Midwest including:
- Pop Scholars
- The Rockin’ Homegrown Jam
- The Legal Immigrants.

Proceeds from the festival will go to support the free cancer, grief and emotional health programs offered through Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids.
