People with green thumbs are anxious to get back outside, but there are some ways gardeners could be a little "smarter" and environmentally friendly.

Rebecca Finneran, former GR Press columnist and MSU Extension educator, gave us a preview of her seminar at the Home and Garden Show discussing smarter ways to garden.

The West Michigan Home and Garden show returns to DeVos Place for its 41st season. The event features 13 gardens, five seminar stages, and over 350 exhibitors featuring every product and service gardeners ever need.

The West Michigan Home & Garden Show will take place March 5-8.

Tickets cost $10 online and $12 at the door for adults, $4 for kids, and free for kids 5 and under.
