Businesses in West Michigan are looking to recruit talented young people to the area at Intern Connect, a professional development conference designed to teach area interns about West Michigan's lifestyle and connect them with companies.
In this virtual event, topics discussed will include creating a positive mindset of communication, how to make remote work for you, and adulting.
In addition to the half-day virtual conference, Hello West Michigan is adding an exclusive series of virtual connection events for Intern Connect registrants.
Also new this year is Hello West Michigan’s “Champion an Intern” program. Individuals can sponsor an intern ticket for $20 and the ticket will be given to a student who has had their internship canceled or couldn’t find one for the summer. To Champion an Intern, go to hellowestmichigan.com/internconnect, click register and select a “Champion an Intern” ticket type.
The Virtual Intern Connect event will take place on June 18 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Tickets for Intern Connect cost $20 and can be purchased up to the date of the event. Interns can register at hellowestmichigan.com/internconnect.
