Say hello to Friday's Friend, Izzy! Izzy is a beautiful 10-month-old lab/shepherd mix that is looking for an active home that likes to have fun. She has done well with other dogs in the past and loves new people.
Cold Weather Safety:
Winter is making its rounds in Michigan and we want you and your pets to be warm and safe! Here are some tips from the ASPCA:
- Remember, if it’s too cold for you, it’s probably too cold for your pet! Keep animals inside when possible.
- Towel dry pets after a walk in the snow, and check paw pads for irritation or cracking. Look for ice between the toes, too!
- Avoid shaving pet's fur in the winter, as their coats are what keep them warm.
- Use a pet-safe ice melt when possible.
