Bark in the Dark
The Bark in the Dark event festivities will begin on Saturday, October 3 with an in-person kickoff at HSWM. This event will be an opportunity for you to pick up your wag bag, visit fun sponsor booths, sign up to walk or run in the Dog Day Out program, and even meet some adoptable dogs.
The week following the kickoff there will be fun daily themes, voting for the pet costume contest, virtual check-ins, and tons of excitement. Each participant will have the opportunity to pledge to walk the distance of their choice and fundraise from their network to support their efforts and the animals at HSWM.
Tickets cost $35 for adults, $15 for ages 5-21, and kids under 5 are free. Tickets may be purchased online at barkinthedark.org or by calling (616) 791-8089.
Join HSWM at Olga's Kitchen in Woodland Mall for a fundraiser to help animals in need on September 22! From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., enjoy their delicious food and be sure to mention the Humane Society of West Michigan to ensure a portion of the day's proceeds are donated to provide food and medical needs to the animals in their care.
