BRADY TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A case of confusion led to a confrontation between a car and a train Sunday evening.
Deputies with the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office were called just before 7 p.m. for a report of a car versus train on N. Indian Lake Road near East T Avenue.
Authorities said the driver of the car believed he was turning onto Indian Lake, but mistakenly turned onto the railroad tracks instead. At that point, the car became stuck on the tracks and was later struck by a train.
Thankfully, neither the driver nor anyone else was in the car at the time of the crash.
