GRAND RAPIDS — GRAND RAPIDS — The forecast from FOX 17 Meteorologist Erik Kostrzewa: High pressure will continue to dominate our weather through Saturday, with rain-free conditions expected. Some of our models suggest an upper level low to our south will bring a few extra clouds in here on Friday and Saturday, but the rain associated with it should stay to our south. Our next chance of thunderstorms, therefore, doesn't come until Sunday and Monday as a cold front approaches. That chance is not great, however.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear and seasonably mild. Lows around 60°. Light and variable wind.
TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and very warm, but humidity will remain relatively low. Highs in the upper 80s. East wind at 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.
TOMORROW NIGHT: Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 60s. Light east/southeast wind.
FRIDAY: Partly cloudy and continued very warm. Highs in the mid to upper 80s. East/southeast wind at 5 to 10 mph.
SATURDAY: Partly cloudy. Hot and a bit more humid with highs around 90°.
