GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — WEST MICHIGAN — The forecast from FOX 17 Meteorologist Anthony Domol: A ridge of high pressure sliding across the area tonight into tomorrow will keep the weather quiet, with a few breaks in the clouds possible. Another trough of low pressure aloft, however, will pass through this weekend with a chance of mixed rain and snow showers Saturday into Sunday morning. Temperatures will be too warm for any snow to stick over the next few days, but that could change by Christmas as our long range guidance suggests a colder and snowier pattern developing by then.
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower to mid 20s. Light and variable winds.
TOMORROW: Partly to mostly cloudy. Highs a bit milder in the mid to upper 30s. Light and variable wind becoming south at 5 to 10 mph.
TOMORROW NIGHT: Mostly cloudy. Not as cold with lows around 30°. South winds at 10 to `15 mph becoming southwest late.
SATURDAY: Light rain and snow showers with cloudy skies. A dusting of snow is possible. Highs in the upper 30s. South winds at 5 to 10 mph.
SUNDAY: A chance of some light rain/snow showers in the morning, otherwise mostly cloudy. Highs in the upper 30s.
