WEST MICHIGAN — WEST MICHIGAN — The forecast from FOX 17 Meteorologist Anthony Domol: Expect more sunshine and warmer temperatures as high pressure moves in from the west over the next couple of days. We will then be following the development of an area of low pressure ejecting from the southwest U.S. Wednesday into Thursday, tracking across the southern Great Lakes region late Friday and into Saturday. Depending on the exact track this system takes, we could see heavy snowfall focused across sections north of Grand Rapids Saturday into Saturday night.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower to middle 30s. Southwest to west winds at 10-15 mph.

TOMORROW/WEDNESDAY: Becoming mostly sunny. Warmer with highs in the middle 40s. West to northwest winds at 10-15 mph.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear and colder. Lows in the upper 20s. Light and variable wind.

THURSDAY: Partly to mostly sunny and even warmer. Highs in the upper 40s to around 50°. Southeast wind at 5 to 10 mph.

FRIDAY: Becoming mostly cloudy with the chance for a few late afternoon and evening rain showers. Highs in the middle 40s.
