KALAMAZOO — Police say a suspect was arrested after at least two robberies early Wednesday morning in Kalamazoo.
Officers were first called to a business along Sprinkle Road along Sprinkle Road around 1:30 a.m. The suspect allegedly entered the store, threatened the employee with a weapon and demanded cash and other items.
It wasn't long after officers responded that another robbery occurred nearby. Police say the suspect and vehicle description matched the first incident.
Officers caught up with the suspect and tried to stop the suspect. The suspect sped off and later crashed the vehicle along Hawley Road in Kalamazoo.
The suspect was taken into custody and no injuries were reported.
