GRAND RAPIDS — The Humane Society of West Michigan announced it's annual Paws, Claws and Corks fundraiser will be held online this year.
“Like many nonprofit organizations, this is a challenging time for Humane Society of West Michigan,” said Holly Guild, Humane Society's executive director. “We are fortunate to have so many generous sponsors and donors who remain committed to the vulnerable animals we care for while they await placement in their forever home. This will be a unique experience and with the wonderful packages our team has put together, I am confident that there is something for everyone at the auction.”
It will be held on April 8 at 7 p.m. There will also be 200 prizes up for grabs and it benefits the Humane Society of West Michigan.
“Paws, Claws & Corks is our signature fundraising event and we are so very grateful to everyone for their support each and every year,” said Holly Guild, Humane Society’s executive director. “Given our organization’s dependence on the money raised during PCC and in light of the current global situation, we decided that shifting to an online auction event was the best decision for our supporters, our team and our animals. We hope that those who attend Paws, Claws & Corks each year will participate in this year’s online auction and we welcome others to join in on the fun.”
