GRAND RAPIDS — West Michigan kicked off Sunday with warm temperatures once again and will hold on to the heat for several days still. Plan on temperatures working back into the lower 90s with some humidity. There is a small chance for some inland pop-up showers or storm coming off of a lake breeze for folks mostly around US-131. It's also a clean air action day to do your part and avoid things like cutting the grass and filling up your gas tank.
The heat continues this week with very minor rain chances Tuesday and Wednesday with our best chance on Friday as temperatures stay in the 90s. Even past the 7-day forecast our heat could climb even warmer than the lower 90s. Our average high temperature for this time of year is in the lower 80s and we could see temperatures a good 15 degrees warmer by next week.
Stay cool and hydrated all week long.
