GRAND RAPIDS — West Michigan woke up Saturday to some light lake effect snow that continues to diminish heading into the late morning hours. Inland communinties will remain most cloudy and everyone once again will have below average temperatures feeling a bit colder.
We will see a bit of a lull in snow activity and stay mostly cloudy until late Sunday evening. Sunday evening through early Monday morning we will have some widespread moderate snowfall and even some possible wintry mix and freezing rain as we head closer to Monday morning and especially south of I-94. Expect a general 1-3 possibly 4 inches of snowfall by Monday morning. Plan ahead now to give yourself extra time on what can be a difficult commute.
Once we get past this next round of snow we will get a break in our recent cold pattern. More mild air with temperatures in the lower 40s will move into West Michigan for Tuesday and Wednesday. Sadly the warm up will only last two days but we will take it! Enjoy the week!
