GRANDVILLE, Mich. — Corelife Eatery is offering a 50% discount to health workers and first responders for the rest April. They are also offering free meals to them every Monday.

The company is offering their discounted meals at their Grandville and Portage locations.

“Our team members really want to do something to support the people who are working on the front lines in our community during this COVID-19 outbreak,” said Joyce Lunsford, the franchisee of CoreLife Eatery in Michigan. "This is our way of showing appreciation for the tireless efforts of the hospital workers and first responders and a chance for them to enjoy a healthy meal."

Staff has already been dropping off meals to first responders and healthcare workers the past couple of weeks.

“We want to reach out to all hospital workers and first responders in the area. Our team members know what it feels like to be part of an essential business and they want to go further in supporting those serving in critical jobs” said Greg Collins, Vice President of Operations for CoreLife Eatery. “I think people appreciate that we have stayed open in order to serve those in our communities that may not have the time to prepare meals for themselves right now.”

The company says it continues to serve customers through carry-out, delivery and curbside pick-up seven days a week 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
