The holiday shopping season is in full swing, and there's a local cosmetic and skincare company that's not only offering great holiday deals, but is determined to change the beauty industry to empower young girls.
Girlpalooza is the only clean, cruelty-free cosmetic and skincare line that promotes female empowerment for all ages. The company is based in Ada, and offers products that are 100 percent vegan, paraben-free, and made with real ingredients.
Becky Vanderbroek, CEO and founder of Grilpalooza, was inspired of creating this makeup line after her daughter showed interest in wearing makeup. She read the ingredients on her beauty products before letting her daughter use them, and realized they were full of harmful ingredients.
Girlpalooza wants to show girls they are good enough just being themselves. Their motto "Be Good to Yoruself" is accomplished by using real products and having self-love.
Plus, a portion of all Girlpalooza proceeds goes directly to local, girl-empowering organizations, such as Girls on the Run and Kids Food Basket.
This holiday season, lip glosses are 3 for $15!
Girlpalooza will also be at the Holiday Pop Up Shop on December 11. The pop up will be held from 4-7 p.m. at the lower level of Studio D2D.
