Body found burned in Emmett Township was missing Alison Sargent

The identity of a burned body found in a remote location is Alison Sargent, according to detectives.

The 25-year-old Pennfield woman was reported missing March 5 after leaving a Meijer on Columbia Avenue just after 12:30 a.m. Sargent's burned body was found near River Road between G Drive North and Raymond Road. Calhoun County Sheriff's deputies say they are still trying to find her vehicle.

Sargent was driving a 2012 Black Dodge Journey with license plate No. JQ18V. The vehicle has a pink license plate frame and four stickers in the rear view window. There is a reward of up to $5,000 offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in Sargent's disappearance.
