WYOMING, Mich. — Early Sunday evening, the Wyoming Department of Public Safety responded to a vehicle crash southbound US 131, just north of 54th St SW, involving two vehicles.
One of the vehicles, driven by a 24-year-old male, lost control of his vehicle and struck the cement median barrier. The vehicle continued to spin out of control when it was struck broadside by another southbound vehicle. The 24-year-old male driver, who was the only passenger, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle was not injured. T
he cause of the crash remains under investigation, but weather is considered a factor. The freeway was closed for approximately 90 minutes, but is back open. The name of the deceased driver is not being released at this time pending notification of the family. Fox 17 will have more details when they are available.
