NORTON SHORES, Mich. — Norton Shores police are warning of a phone scam of someone pretending to be a Norton Shores police officer and claiming to have an arrest warrant.
Police want residents to be aware of this. The caller has also used software that shows up as local police. They’ve also demanded money. Officials say the department does not demand money or issue arrest warrants over the phone.
