COLDWATER, Mich. — A man was killed Monday after being hit by a vehicle on the shoulder of a Branch County highway.
The crash happened around 3:05 p.m. on southbound I-69 near the Jonesville exit in Coldwater.
Authorities say a 67-year-old man from Riverview had stopped on the shoulder and got out of the vehicle for what police say may have been issues with his vehicle. He was hit by a passing vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
