GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - A major downtown highway ramp has reopened.
MDOT opened the ramp from southbound US-131 to westbound I-196 Friday afternoon. The ramp had been closed for several weeks as construction on I-196 has closed the highway for much of the construction season.
