PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Northbound US-131 was closed for nearly three hours Monday after a six-vehicle crash.
The Kent County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened just after 2 p.m. at Post Drive in Plainfield Township. Three people were injured, though none were life-threatening. Early video from the scene showed an asphalt truck also involved.
FOX 17 viewers reported traffic in both directions slowed in that area causing back-ups all the way to 10 Mile Road to well south of Post Drive.
The crash has been cleaned up and all lanes are open. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
