PORTAGE, Mich. — A road in Portage was closed Monday night after a gas leak at a construction site.
The leak happened around 2:53 p.m. on Westnedge Avenue, south of Millham Avenue, when a construction worker hit a gas line.
Westnedge Avenue was closed for about an hour while crews worked to repair the leak, but has since reopened.
