GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A man’s body was pulled from the Grand River Monday evening after two hours of searching.
Emergency responders were called around 5 p.m. to the river after a man went underwater while walking in the river. The search continued until 7 p.m. when he was found.
Life-saving measures were attempted, but weren’t successful.
The Grand Rapids Fire Department said the victim is a homeless man who lived nearby. His identity wasn’t immediately released.
