LOWELL, Mich. – The man who drowned in a Lowell area lake Thursday has been identified.
Roberto Ridriquez-Castellon, 41, died Thursday while trying to swim to an island at Stony Lake Park.
The Lowell Fire Department posted Friday their sympathies to families and friends, but also thanks to residents who were nearby who assisted in trying to rescue Castellon.
