GAINES TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Police arrested a suspect who struck a woman in a wheelchair and drove off on June 24.
The crash happened at the intersection of Division Avenue and Piedmont Drive.
A Chevy Blazer collided with the woman as it left the entrance to Southwood Mobile Home Park.
Police cited media coverage of this incident as the reason the suspect was identified and arrested.
