ALLENDALE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A man who was killed after being stuck by a vehicle while crossing the street in Allendale Township has been identified.
Donald Reister, 81, was attempting to cross 68th Avenue on Sunday in a motorized wheelchair when he was hit by a southbound vehicle.
Alcohol, drugs and speed aren’t believed to be factors in the crash.
