KENTWOOD, Mich. — One person was killed Monday afternoon in a crash involving a car and a moped.
The crash happened around 1:34 p.m. at the intersection of Division Avenue and Thurston Street in Kentwood.
Police say a vehicle going south turned in front of a moped going north, causing a crash.
The moped rider was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said they weren’t wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor.
