BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — An 89-year-old man and his dog died in a fire at a home on Martha Drive and South Leland Drive in Battle Creek.
Officials responded to the call early Friday morning and quickly knocked down the fire.
The man and his dog were found dead in the master bathroom.
Police are withholding the name of the victim at this time and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
