GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Police have identified a motorcyclist killed on Saturday near Burton Street and Jerome Avenue SW as Matthew Rodriguez, 24, from the Wyoming area.
Rodriguez riding his motorcycle eastbound on Burton Street SW around 8:30 p.m. when he lost control of the bike, hit a curb and was sent flying into a nearby telephone pole.
Police believe speed was a factor in this crash.
