BATTLE CREEK, Mich. -- At least eight people were injured in an overnight apartment fire in Battle Creek.
The fire broke out at the Village Inn Apartments on River Side Drive just after 10 p.m. on Sunday.
Seven people were treated on the scene for smoke inhalation and one fire fighter suffered minor injuries, according to authorities.
All three apartment buildings in the complex are considered a total loss.
