KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is investigating after a stabbing early Thursday morning.
It happened at a home in the 400 block of Reed Street around 1:11 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found a 28-year-old man with a stab wound to his head and abdomen.
Officers were able to provide first aid to the victim until first responders arrived. Shortly after, officers learned that the victim was previously in an argument with another man believed to be the suspect in the stabbing.
That suspect, a 23-year-old man from Kalamazoo, was arrested without further incident and is now facing assault charges.
The victim is currently in stable condition.
