CASCADE TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Authorities say a woman died Monday in a crash involving two vehicles and a deer in Cascade Township.
The Kent County Sheriff's Department dispatch says the crash was reported at 5:49 p.m. on Cascade Road near Quiggle Avenue.
Susan Fries, 49, Ada, was killed in the crash.
Emergency responders at the scene tell FOX 17 that an eastbound vehicle hit a deer and the deer then landed on a westbound vehicle's windshield.
The westbound vehicle then went off the road and hit a tree, officials said. The driver of that vehicle was killed.
