GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Northbound US-131 was closed just north of Burton Street in Grand Rapids due to a multi-vehicle crash starting around 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Initial reports indicated the crash was near Franklin Street.
When first responders arrived, they reported to dispatch that nine to 10 vehicles were involved. However, not all of them needed wreckers.
The highway was closed by 6 a.m. and didn’t reopen until shortly after 7 a.m.
