BALTIMORE TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The Barry County Sheriff is investigating the death of a 1 1/2 year old child Monday morning.
Deputies say the boy was found by his father in a shallow body of water on the family’s property in the 8000 block of South Broadway Road in Baltimore Township Monday morning, just before 11:00 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Barry County Sheriff says that the boy’s death is not being treated as being suspicious. They say the boy was last seen playing with cats in the family barn and then was found outside in the water.
