GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Grand Rapids police are on the scene of an apparent bank robbery Wednesday morning.

Police say that the Independent Bank at the intersection of Plainfield and Fuller NE was robbed at about 10:30 a.m. No one was reported to have been injured.

Police say that the suspect passed a note to a teller and did not show a weapon.  They say the suspect fled the scene alone in a dark-colored passenger vehicle with rust on the passenger side.

The Kent County Sheriff released information Wednesday morning regarding a suspect wanted for several area robberies and may be involved in this robbery.  Jacob Savickas is wanted for robberies in West Michigan and Indiana.

The FBI is investigating as well.
