AeroMed called to Ottawa Co. septic truck crash

ZEELAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — One person was injured Thursday when a septic truck rolled over southwest of Hudsonville.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department dispatch says the rollover crash was reported at 48th Avenue and Quincy Street.

Officials at the scene of the crash tell FOX 17 that the truck was northbound on 48th when the driver veered off the shoulder and then got back on the road and lost control of the vehicle.

The truck then crossed the center line and rolled over in a ditch.

The driver was taken to the hospital by AeroMed.  A passenger in the truck was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
