GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Grand Circus Grand Rapids hosted their Bootcamp Demo Day at Start Garden Friday. Bootcamp students worked on projects over ten weeks to build and present their final group projects.
Grand Circus started four years ago to bridge the gap between individuals changing careers into the tech field and finding employers looking to hire within their tech companies.
CEO of Grand Circus Damien Rocchi said, “At the end of the day, this is about introducing students to employers in the room who are looking to hire these student for development.”
Friday afternoon consisted of project pitches and networking. After pitches were complete, employers and guests were able to chat with the students and their projects.
Companies looking for an entry level developers were welcome to join the event. The students were excited to get out into the real world and work at an amazing company.
