HOLLAND, Mich. — Authorities say a suspect is in custody after two people were stabbed Friday in Holland.
The Holland Department of Public Safety was called to multiple victims stabbed in the area of 16th Street and Central Ave at 4:36 p.m. Friday. Upon arrival, officers found three stabbing victims. However, two of them were treated at the scene for very minor injuries.
One victim was transported to Holland Hospital with two stab wounds.
The victims were able to give officers some information about the suspect. Through their investigation, officers were able to determine the suspect’s name and address. Officers found the suspect walking down Ninth Street near his address, and were able to take the suspect into custody.
Officers were assisted by a Holland Police canine unit and on-call detective.
The suspect was lodged in jail on a charge of felonious assault.
