BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – Mecosta County is mourning the loss of a sheriff’s deputy this morning.
Sheriff Todd Purcell says that Deputy Jason Wieber died Wednesday after a battle with cancer. Purcell says he was a 16-year veteran of the sheriff’s department.
Visitation will be Thursday and Friday from 5-7pm at Daggett Gilbert Funeral Home 13985 Northland Dr. Big Rapids
Funeral Services will be Saturday 1:00pm at Trinity Fellowship 15085 220th Ave. Big Rapids.
