PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. - The victim in a crash Thursday afternoon on the East Beltline has been identified as a Northview High School student.
Scott Korpak, the superintendent of Northview schools, says that Stephen Rathbun, a junior at the high school, died in the crash.
The crash happened at about 3:45pm at the East Beltline near Webber Avenue. A second person was injured in the crash.
Northview crisis team members are at the school today for any student or staff that want to talk about the event.
