West Michigan - It looks like another winter storm for the area late Friday into late Saturday. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for all of West Michigan from 7 AM Friday to 7 AM Sunday.
The track of the storm will place the heaviest snow along north of I-96. Snowfall amounts vary depending upon which computer model is used. Forecast amounts of snow by 7 PM Saturday range from 3-5 inches south of I-94, to 6-9 inches north of I-96. Some mixed precipitation is possible south of Grand Rapids and that will keep the snowfall amounts lower.
Another shot of "arctic air" arrives Sunday and early in the week before milder temperatures return by Wednesday and Thursday.
