KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A 19-year-old was arrested early Sunday morning following what police called a ‘disturbance’ at Little Darlings Gentleman’s Club where the suspect tried running from officers.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says the owner of that business called police around 2:30 a.m. Sunday after he noticed one of the men involved in an argument had a gun in his waistband.
That suspect left the business on foot while police were headed there, but officers spotted him on Douglas near Ravine and began chasing him.
After a brief pursuit, the teenager was tackled by police into a stream.
A stolen pistol was found in the pants of the suspect, according to a news release from The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
The man, whose name is not yet being released, was arrested for possession of a stolen firearm, felony firearm, and resisting and obstructing a police officer.
