Ferris State Volleyball hosts Regional Tournament

BIG RAPIDS, Mich. -- The number one seed Ferris State Volleyball team is hosting the NCAA Midwest Regional Tournament for the second year in a row, marking the team's sixth straight NCAA Tournament appearance.

Coach Tia Brandel-Wilhelm has guided the Bulldogs to a 28-5 record this season, claiming the regular-season and tournament titles for the third straight year.

"We don't feel like we've been really successful. People talk about the number of wins we've had in a row, but it's really for us about trying to get better every day," said Coach Brandel-Wilhelm, "You know, we've played a lot of games where we felt like we needed to do a lot better and we came back in the gym on Monday morning and really got after it, so for us it's just always about getting a little bit better every day whether you did well in the last game or didn't do well."

They head into Thursday's 5:00pm match riding a 24-match win streak as they host eighth seeded Truman State.
