Robbery suspect arrested after Facebook deal goes wrong

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A 17-year-old was arrested in connection to a robbery that reportedly happened Monday evening.

It happened in the area of Portage and East Stockbridge in Kalamazoo. The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety said a 23-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman  were suppose to meet with the suspect about selling some property. Police say they connected with him through Facebook.

After the suspect met up with the couple, he got into their vesicle and reportedly robbed them at gunpoint.

The suspect was taken to the Kalamazoo County Jail.
