Harbor Humane Society extends Black Friday adoption specials

WEST OLIVE, Mich. — Hurry! The sale ends soon. Harbor Humane Society is offering Black Friday adoption deals until the end of the day Saturday, Nov. 26.

Cats older than 5 months old with black on them (excluding black noses) will be free. Kittens younger than 5 months with black on them will be $10 and dogs with black on them will be 50 percent off.

This month, the Harbor Humane Society is also offering fee waived adoptions on all senior animals older than the age of 7.

There's also a food drive going on Nov. 26 through Dec. 3 in an effort to help low-income pet owners feed their dogs. All you have to do is head to the Harbor Humane Society, show proof of low income (bridge card, Medicaid card, check stub) and you will get one free bag of food.
