1 caught, 1 not in Wyoming overnight robbery with knife

WYOMING, Mich. — Police say they have one suspect in custody, but continue to search for another after an armed robbery early Saturday morning.

It happened just after 2 a.m. in the area of 36th Street and Raven Street SW in Wyoming.

Two suspects reportedly stole cash and other personal belongings, along with threatening the victim with a knife, according to a press release from Wyoming Police. Police say they set up a perimeter and found one of the suspects with the help of a K-9 unit.

The suspect, who wasn’t identified, was taken to  the Kent County jail. Police describe the other suspect as a tall skinny black male and is believed to be around 20-years-old.
