A Chair Affair raises money for people with disabilities to enjoy the arts

Posted at 12:02 PM, Nov 03, 2016

Own a hand-painted chair to spruce up your home all while supporting a good cause at A Chair Affair.

A Chair Affair is happening Saturday, November 5 at the Richard App Gallery. There will be a silent auction from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and a live auction starting at 8 p.m.

Along with an auction of 20 hand-painted chairs, there will be student artwork on display for sale, as well as a 50/50 raffle, wine, and appetizers.

All the money raised at this fundraiser will go towards Arts in Motion scholarships for students.

Arts in Motion works to enrich the community and the lives of people with disabilities through the expressive arts. They never turn a student away, even if they can't afford to pay for classes.
