ORLEANS TOWNSHIP, Much. — Two people suffered non-life threatening injuries after a crash in Ionia County Tuesday morning.
It happened around 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of M-66 and M-44 in Orleans Township. An Allied Waste truck was struck by a Chevy Suburban after it lost control on the wet roadway, according to a press release from the Ionia County Sheriff’s Office. The driver of the suburban told police she thought the truck driver was going to pull out in front of her.
The driver of the suburban was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
