FILLMORE TWP., Mich. — One person is dead following an industrial accident near Holland on Tuesday.
The victim has been identified as Robert Geurink, 55. He was the owner and operator of A&B sales and rental, which is where the accident took place.
Allegan County officials say that Geurink was operating the crane when it tipped over, pinning him inside the cab of the crane. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say that Geurink was using the crane to move a large piece of equipment from a flat bed trailer and during the movement of the piece, the crane tipped.
